Description
Inhabitants of the Trankurra is a program for the day leaving the Curarrehue square.
Visitors and the local guide will meet to move 11 km. by vehicle to Pocolpén. Here they will be received by a seed protector. The hostess will take a tour of her agroecological garden, sharing her extensive knowledge about plants, the stories of her seeds and the medicinal use that is given to each of them.
After noon, the Camilo Coñuequir Lloftonekul Indigenous Community will welcome visitors to Ruka Trankurra where they will enjoy a lunch based on traditional foods from Mapuche cuisine. After the feeding, a short walk will take place until the jump of Copuhupulli and on the return a conversation space will be opened with the lonko of the community, who will share with the visitors the history of his family and the link with the territory. The program will end with a visit to a workshop for the elaboration of products derived from honey and natural herbs, within the community.
