Description
The El Cañi Sanctuary Trekking is done in a small protected reserve, located on the way to Huife, the biggest attractions are its majestic araucarias, numerous small lagoons and one of the most impressive 360 ° views of the area.
“El Cañi Sanctuary is a Private Reserve of 500 hectares, mainly dedicated to the conservation of the ancestral forests of Araucaria araucana, a species which is one of the longest on our planet. The main trail “Mirador El Cañi” is 8 km one way, 3-4 hours of climb, 2-3 hours back. Starting point at 370 m, maximum height 1,550 m, total cumulative climb 1,240 m.
